Our Story

We’re Yulia and Kolya — a Ukrainian family who left everything behind in 2022 and rebuilt our dream in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. YuNiKo is named after all three of us.

Since 2015, Yulia has designed women’s clothing inspired by comfort and quiet confidence. When the war forced our family to leave Kyiv in 2022, we didn’t leave that dream behind — we brought it with us. By 2023, we’d opened YuNiKo in the U.S., and today our showroom in Buffalo Grove is where it all comes together.

Our name says it all — YU from Yulia, NI from our son Nikolas (born right here in the U.S.), and KO from Kolya. Three names, one family, one dream in every piece we make.
